Parenting from a place of love, peace and inner wisdom
DO YOU SOMETIMES WISH PARENTING COULD FEEL A LITTLE LIGHTER & EASIER?
Does it feel like the toughest thing you’ve ever done?
Do you often find yourself feeling anxious, stressed and fed-up?
Or frustrated that, yet again, you’ve not been the calm and kind parent you so want to be?
If so, please don’t beat yourself up or give up.
I’ve been there, you’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to stay this way.
I’M DR. NICOLA FARR
I’m a family well-being coach and child psychologist – and I’d love to help you.
You see, I get it; this was exactly how I felt only a few years ago. Back then I had three children under 5 and often felt depleted and overwhelmed.
But thankfully things have changed a LOT – and this isn’t because my children or circumstances have changed, it’s simply because I’ve changed.
I’m now on a mission to help you get to a similar place; to help you find joy in parenting and to parent from a place of love and calm (well, most of the time anyway!)
truly believing that you are a good parent and that you know exactly how to help your child/ren thrive
THIS IS ALL WITHIN YOUR REACH!
And the best part is that this is NOT about teaching you strategies or theories or mindfulness or a load of ‘how-to’ steps.
It’s NOT about analysing the minutiae of your child’s behaviour or temperament.
And it’s NOT about digging into your own background and exploring your triggers and childhood.
It’s much simpler, much gentler, but also SO much more IMPACTFUL.
It starts with having a conversation about our nature as humans and the FACTS that explain how our mind works and where our experience comes from.
Because once this understanding is firmly in place, once we deeply see how things work, parenting becomes a whole different experience – and one that is so much easier, freer and more enjoyable.

I never assumed parenting was going to be a walk in the park. But one thing in particular that I was not at all prepared for was quite how angry I would find myself becoming at times. And the very worst of those times were apparently all because of a two-year-old?? Yep, who knew that a…read more
I have found that as soon as you acknowledge the way you parent in terms such as ‘peaceful’, ‘positive’, ‘freedom’ or ‘respectful’, you are opening a rather large can of worms for a rather large number of misconceptions. And one of the biggest tends to be that...read more
